Residency
Most founders don’t access this kind of environment until much later.
Our home is a 19-floor building in prime W1, between Mayfair and Fitzrovia. The conversations on these floors are operational - about capital, deals, and decisions.
The residency we operate within it is allocated to a small number of founders who are ready to work at that level, or close enough that the environment will move them there faster.
Residency is offered to a small number of companies each year. It is not a service you subscribe to. We select startup teams carefully. It is an environment you are admitted into, because the quality of who is here depends entirely on the care taken in choosing them.
It is not a typical startup hub but one in an institutional setting. And for the right founder, it changes the pace of everything.

The sclr labs residency is a selective operating environment for revenue-generating or venture-backed founders building in London.
We embed a small number of companies into an institutional-grade setting - giving them the infrastructure, context, and proximity that most founders at this stage simply cannot access. Not through a programme and not through a community. Through our direct network, the environment itself and who is in it.
The workspace is calm, private, and designed for focused execution. Dedicated workstations, secure network, phone booths for private calls, and kitchen facilities on the floor. No hot desks. No drop-ins. No revolving door of strangers.
Beyond the workspace, the building itself is part of the value. The floors above and below are occupied by finance, investment, and professional services firms. The common areas - marble surfaces, considered furniture, a club space that looks nothing like a startup office - are shared with the companies that sit alongside you. Two reception tiers. Views across London. A setting that signals seriousness to your guests before you’ve said a word.
Residents also have access to curated roundtables, small-group capital sessions, expansion labs, and structured pathways into the sclr capital network. These are not open events - all are by application or approval. Residents have priority, and complimentary access to most of them. The current calendar is at luma.com/sclr.labs.
Residency is designed for founders who are already operating - not preparing to.
Specifically: a live product in market, revenue or venture backing, clear traction beyond MVP, and full-time operational intensity.
If you are at that stage and need a credible London base - for execution, investor access, or market entry - this environment was built for you.
This is not the right environment for pre-product or idea-stage companies, part-time or exploratory projects, freelancers, or founders looking for flexible co-working or a short-term base.
The environment works because of who is in it. We protect that carefully.
Residents pay a fraction of what this environment costs to operate. The rest is our investment in you.
We allocate carefully because of that - and because the founders we admit are, in most cases, accessing an environment they wouldn’t yet qualify for anywhere else.
Individual Allocation - for founders operating full-time within the hub: £360 + VAT per month. Team Allocation - for early teams of typically two to three members: from £800 + VAT per month. Team+ Allocation - for scaling teams of typically four to six members: from £1,600 + VAT per month. UK registered and business address, mail handling, and access to Elementa locations across the UK available to admitted residents at £10 per month. Allocation terms are confirmed at admission.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. We look at every application and move quickly - you will hear from us either way. If there is initial interest, we will reach out directly to arrange a conversation.
Not all applications are accepted. If the timing isn’t right, we will say so.
